Our goal at Timberwood Farms is to breed self-sufficient sheep with an emphasis
on a lean meat carcass and fine wool. Toward this end, we selected ewes for our
foundation stock whom we believe embodied these characteristics.  All our
foundation ewes trace directly back to five top UK rams
(Saltersford's Derek,
Pen-Y-Wern's Beater
, Court Llaca's 3815, Guifron's 4150, and Easter
Beltie).

Our ewes are pasture raised and only occasionally receive grain as a treat.  We
participate in the Clun Forest Lambplan.  In addition, our stock is OPP, Scrapie,
and foot rot free.

                                           2011 Fiber Score: 28.7 Microns

Sire:

Dam: Touchstone T46 (Pearl) 2T-00060 (Touchstone Rudy 2R00100 X Touchstone N38
2N-00046)

Pearl's first ewe lamb is a large, extremely well built ewe with great length and excellent
overall conformation.   Coffee Fudge has a very correct leg set, straight topline, and the classic
Clun face, ears and wool free legs.  It also looks like she has inherited her mother's beautiful
lusterous fleece. Coffee  Fudge produced a single ram lamb.  Go to

                    Timberwood Mocha Almond (X003)

                           3/11/10
          2011 Fiber Score: 28.1Microns
          Lambplan Score:

Sire: Touchstone Tanzanite 2T-00058 (Touchstone Sampson 2S-00093 X Prairie 2L-00121)
Dam: Blue Heron T04 (Ruby) 2T-00037(Touchstone Marcus 2M-00060  X Touchstone R063)

Mocha Almond takes after her mother in terms of build and Clun features.  She is a large,
sturdily built ewe with a nice leg set and great length.  She has the classic dark Clun face with a
narrow muzzle.  Her ear set could be a little better, and she has a little wool on her legs, but
other than that she is a very nice ewe.   She has a nice dense fleece, and it will be interesting to
see how it tests out this year. Mocha Almond delivered ram/ewe twins.  Go to

                    Timberwood Java Chip (X004)
                   2X-00152
                        3/11/10
         2011 Fiber Score: 28.3 Microns
         Lambplan Score:

Sire: Touchstone Tanzanite 2T-00058 (Touchstone Sampson 2S-00093 X Prairie 2L-00121)
Dam: Blue Heron T04 (Ruby) 2T-00037(Touchstone Marcus 2M-00060  X Touchstone R063)

Twin to Mocha Almond, Java Chip is a smaller ewe with a less robust build.  She is very well
put together with a long, straight topline and well set legs.  She too has the classic dark Clun
face with a narrow muzzle.  Her ear set could be a little better, but she has a little less wool on
her legs then her sister.  In terms of personaliy, she is very friendly and has a calm, quiet
disposition.   Java Chip had a single ram lamb.
