All wool for our Clun Forest yarn comes from our own flock of Clun Forest Sheep.
The sheep are sheared annually, and selected fleeces are sent off to be
cleaned, carded and spun into yarn by a small mill. We also have a small
amount of hand-spun Clun Forest yarn available.
Our Timberwood Farm Clun Forest Yarn is a creamy white, soft yarn with a lot of
elasticity. It is great for most knitting projects including scarves, hats, gloves,
mittens and sweaters. Our goal is to produce the best yarn for your knitting
projects.
