All fiber for our Cashmere Roving comes from our own herd of American
Cashmere Goats. The Goats are combed in the spring when they begin to shed,
and the fiber is then sent off to be de-haired, cleaned, carded and made into
pencil roving.
Our Timberwood Farm Cashmere Roving comes in two colors. One is an off
white - light gray, fiber and the second is a slightly darker light brown color. The
roving is wonderfully soft, light, and very warm. It is perfect for hand-spinning
and will make a beautiful hand-spun yarn.
