Our goal at Timberwood Farms is to breed an outstanding dual purpose goat that
is conformationally correct but also produces an abundance of the luxury fiber
known as cashmere. We expect all our animals to be as self-sufficient as
possible, so we also breed for goats that can thrive on forage and that have an
excellent temperment.

Chisum is a beautiful buck with excellent conformation, a sweet temperment and tremendous
potential. He has excellent fiber diameter, excellent fiber style and good staple length. His
first crop of kids all have solid conformation and show excellent fiber coverage and fineness of
fiber.
Although not shown this year, Chisum took first place in his large class at the 2008 Virginia
State Fair Cashmere Goat Show.

nice staple length. He took Reserve Grand Champion at the 2008 Virginia State Fair
